Start with the form
The form below is how to reach us. We reply by email to the address you give, with a few questions or a first draft programme. Here is what to put in a first message so that the reply is useful.
How to reach us
Send the form at the bottom of this page or of any other page; they all reach the same place. The five fields in the main part are enough to start: what kind of trip, your name, your email, when you plan to travel and how many are travelling. The optional section lets you add more, including who is travelling and what you want to understand.
We reply by email to the address you give. If you have not heard from us, check your spam folder; replies to a new address sometimes land there.
What makes the first reply useful
- Dates or a month, and whether they can move. The floating-market trip is more typical on an ordinary weekday.
- Who is travelling: adults, teenagers, or a class, with ages.
- What you want to understand: rice, trade, salt, communities, or a mix.
- Where you start: Ho Chi Minh City, Can Tho, or Can Tho airport.
- Anything that could spoil the trip: mobility, small boats, dietary needs, early starts.
- For schools: the subject, the level, the number of students and teachers, and any approval deadline.
If you have none of these yet, send what you have. A month and a number of travellers is enough to begin.
Examples of good first messages
- "Two adults, mid-February, three days. We read about salinity and want to see the coast, not the tourist boats. Starting in Ho Chi Minh City."
- "Family of four, teenagers 14 and 16, late March. One night in Can Tho. The kids are studying food systems."
- "University geography group, 22 students and 2 staff, November. Four days, interested in floods and dykes. We need activity descriptions for our risk assessment by early September."
If you are a school or university
Teachers and lecturers usually need more from the first reply than private travellers do. Tell us the subject and level, the number of students and staff, the approval deadline inside your institution, and anything your risk assessment will ask about. We reply with a draft programme, an outline of the briefings and the activity descriptions you can attach to your paperwork.
The field-trip planning page lists what schools most often need to settle, from supervision ratios to food and boat safety.
If you are already in the delta
If you are already in Can Tho, or arriving at Can Tho airport, say so. The one-day version of the floating-market trip starts from a Can Tho hotel at 05:00, and the two-day trips become shorter and cheaper without the drive from Ho Chi Minh City. Send the form with the name of your hotel and the dates you are there; give as much notice as you can, because early-morning boats and guides are arranged in advance.
What happens next
- We read your message and check the season, the route and the hotels your dates need.
- If something is unclear, we reply with questions first, by email.
- We send a draft programme with stops, hotels, road hours and a price per person.
- You change what you want; each version is priced again in full.
- When you are ready, we confirm in writing with the payment schedule and terms.
The how-to-book page covers confirmation and payment, and the pricing page explains how a quote is built.
What we cannot help with
Some requests are outside what we do, and it is fairer to say so here than in a reply. We do not arrange trips longer than four days, stays organised around a host family, resort or luxury stays, or cheap shared day tours from Ho Chi Minh City. We do not book international flights or apply for visas on your behalf. We do not sell boat tickets on their own, such as the fast boat from Chau Doc to Phnom Penh, though we can end a trip in Chau Doc so that you can take it.
If your plan includes one of these, send the form anyway and tell us which part you need. We will say clearly what we can do, and what you should arrange elsewhere.
Payment safety and your data
We never ask for card details by email. What the form collects and how it is used is set out in the privacy policy.
If a message asks you to pay to an account that is not on your written confirmation, do not pay. Send the form and ask us first.
Common questions
Questions travellers ask most
Is there a phone number or an office to visit?
Not on this site. Send the form; we reply by email to the address you give.
Do you answer general questions about the delta?
Yes, if they relate to a trip you are planning. The environment, communities and destination pages answer the most common ones.
Can I send a draft itinerary I have already made?
Yes. Paste it into the notes field. We will say which parts fit our way of working and which do not.

Tell us what you want to understand
A month, the number of travellers and one line about what interests you are enough to start. We reply by email with questions or a draft programme with stops, hotels and road hours.
